Brodsky Renehan Pearlstein & Bouquet is proud to announce that Heather Sweren will serve as a speaker at the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) Family Law Section’s 2026 Family Practice Update, taking place virtually on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Created nearly 20 years ago by the MSBA Family Law Section, the annual Family Practice Update provides Maryland family law professionals with timely information about legislative changes, Maryland Rules updates, and recent case law developments affecting their practices and clients.

Discussing Recent Family Law Case Developments

Heather will join Maureen Glackin, Esq. and Paul J. Reinstein, Esq. for the program’s discussion of Family Law Case Developments. The presentation will examine recent opinions that impact family law practitioners and their clients’ cases.

The Family Practice Update will also include a Family Law Legislative Update and Maryland Rules Update, presented by Paul J. Reinstein, as well as a question-and-answer session at the conclusion of the program.

For family law attorneys, staying current on developing case law, legislation, and procedural rules is essential to providing informed representation. BRP Family Law is pleased to have Heather contribute her knowledge and experience to a program dedicated to keeping Maryland’s family law community informed.
