Mr. Wills has spent 29 of his 33 years in law focusing nearly exclusively on family law cases. He has handled complex issues such as alimony, property distribution, the division of retirement benefits, and contested custody disputes. He has also managed numerous appellate cases, resulting in written appellate opinions. Beyond his formidable litigation skills, Vince is a court-appointed Best Interest Attorney and a certified mediator, frequently called upon for his expert testimony in family law cases.

Vince’s professional credentials and involvement are extensive. He is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (Maryland Chapter) and currently serves as the President of the Maryland Chapter. Additionally, Mr. Wills is an active participant on the Maryland State Bar Association Family and Juvenile Law Section Council, where he held the position of Chair from June 2014 to June 2015. He is also a former Co-Chair of the Family Law Section and a Montgomery County Bar Association Bar Leader. Vince, a sought-after thought leader in his field, has frequently lectured for the Maryland State Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association. He has contributed to judicial education through continuing legal education programs presented at the Judicial College of Maryland.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Wills’s academic background is notable. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1981. Following his undergraduate studies, he served on active duty in the United States Air Force for four years, achieving the rank of Captain. His military service included a three-year assignment in the former West Germany. During this time, he earned a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University. After completing his military service, Vince pursued his Juris Doctor degree, graduating cum laude from the University of Baltimore in 1991. Subsequently, he expanded his expertise by completing the Georgetown University 2016 eDiscovery Training Academy and the Arkfeld Online eDiscovery and Digital Evidence Course.
Outside of his professional achievements, Vince has been married for over 42 years and is the proud father of two adult children. His commitment to family mirrors his passion for guiding clients through complex family law issues with empathy and precision.
